When the moon is full on a dark night these nightly serpents come out to hunt in a changed form at every full moon. They are called the werewolf, and are widely known to be popular right next to the vampires. The werewolf may be considered to be an evil creature, or shape shifters throughout the centuries of folklore and mythology.
Throughout the centuries of stories on the werewolf transformations, he would always change on the influence of a full moon in an isolated area. After he leaves his man form body, he would change into a werewolf and start hunting for his prey.
In his disguised form he would have bushy straight eye brows that meet in the middle of the bridge of his nose. The werewolf skin would be scratched, rough, and he would have lots of hair all over his body. He would have blood red finger nails, protruding teeth, and his ears were always long and narrow that laid towards the back of his head.
The werewolf has always been known in stories to be able to disguise themselves among humans not being able to identify them. They have physical traits of always occurring to the graveyard to dig up corpse to feed on them. The werewolf is not immortal like the vampire. They die eventually when they are killed or from old age. In order to kill a werewolf they are only killed from a silver bullet shot through its heart, or a knife made from the silver of a melted crucifix. It's said that all werewolves bear the sign of the beast or the pentagram somewhere on their bodies.
Legend also tells us for a human to become a werewolf they have to be bitten by a werewolf and survive. Another legend says a human has to drink the water that is collected from a wolves paw print where the paw's water holes are frequent by eating the brains or the flesh of a wolf.
The werewolves have existed in the stories of legends and folklore throughout the centuries. There have been accounts that have inspired the legends and folklore of humans changing into werewolves. They say in some accounts rabid wolves or wild dogs displayed wolf like symptoms that could have been mistaken for a werewolf. Another trait of the werewolf is frothing at the mouth, and anyone he bites gives the ability of turning them into a werewolf. Similar to a rabid wolf, or wild dog their bite spreads the symptoms of rabies.
