Shedu are native to hot, arid climates and have powerful, stocky bodies with short but powerful wings. Their heads are large and humanoid, almost dwarven in appearance. They have beards and mustache's and their hair is bristly, curled usually into tight waves or bands.

All Shedu wear a headband made of braided cloth or rope with a single button or some form of gem or jewel in the center for adornment. The Shedu's alignment is Lawful Good, they wander the astral and ethereal planes where they try to help further establish good, and help other allied creatures when in need.

The basic language of the Shedu can range from many of it's kind, but the more popular tongues spoken are that of the Lamia, Lammasu and most human tongues. The Shedu have no real enemies but are powerful warriors in groups and when defending can be quite lethal. Otherwise they are of no threat to anyone.
