Here is an Interview with Horror artist Andrew Barton and he also runs Raven Media. We have selected him for his amazing breathtaking Horror art work. Get to learn more about the artist behind Raven Media.

SH: Hey Raven Media! Thank you for taking the time to answer some of our questions for the webmasters pick. We have selected you for your amazing Dark and Horror graphic work.

When you first started with it did anything inspired you or motivated you to do it from the start?

ANDREW: Well I would say its been 20 years of watching horror movies that inspired me, that and being somewhat artistic in the first place.

SH: How long have you been working with graphic making?

ANDREW: I've worked in graphics for 8 years now, been a long hard struggle to get where I am today, but I encourage anyone to take it up, its worth it in the end.

SH: How long roughly does it take you to make image graphics? And what kind?

ANDREW: Well for one of my horror graphics of people, it can take anything from 5 hours to 5 days, that's totally dependent on the idea and time I have to do it. As for general graphics such as logo's and design templates I would say roughly the same, speed comes with practice.

SH: Involving with graphic image making what do you enjoy the most when working with them?

ANDREW: For my horror art I enjoy taking the photo's the best, as I am a keen photographer. When making a fresh custom graphic then I must say I enjoy all the process.

SH: What kind or image programs do you use?

ANDREW: I use a mixture, Adobe Photoshop 7, Paint Shop pro and Macromedia Flash Mx

SH: Do you have any neat image tricks or tips you would like to share with us?

ANDREW: Use good hi resolution photos and textures, e.g.: concrete, wood...

SH: In your view with graphic making what are something that should be avoided when making them?

ANDREW: Avoid not having the ideas in the first place, or not being in the correct mood to make one. If you go into the project with an open mind you will succeed.

SH: Do you have your own web site and if so where can we take a look at it?

ANDREW: I am currently building my portfolio business website. This is the Url once its finished: www.raven-media.co.uk

SH: I know right now you are working on some sites. How many and how do you find it working with so many?

ANDREW: I am currently working on 12 web related projects. I find it somewhat easy, I've just got to juggle the time between them and decide which is more important than the others depending on the clients deadline. It keeps me on my toes and its what I love doing.

SH: Now I am just going to ask a few questions about you. So we can get to know a little about you. How would you describe yourself?

ANDREW: I would describe myself as mysterious, and neutral.

SH: What would be your most memorable moment?

ANDREW: My most memorable moment must be watching my first horror film, I was 3 and it was A Nightmare On Elm Street, it scared the hell out of me, but I guess that's what started what I am today.

SH: What are some of your favorite things you enjoy doing and hobbies?

ANDREW: Well apart from business my media projects including the horror art are part of my hobbies, I also am a film freak and love going to the cinema. One of my other interests is in the paranormal, I love visiting haunted houses and creepy stuff like that.

SH: What are some of your dislikes?

ANDREW: Nightclubs.

SH: And that's about all. Thanks for having this interview with us and is there any last words you like to say?

ANDREW: Thanks for taking the time to interview me. World Peace.
