SH: First of all, I would like to say thanks for taking the time to answer some of our questions. We have picked your site as the webmasters pick. We would like to ask you some questions so we could get to know the webmaster behind their work. Your website started in 2002, and it picked up fast with popularity. Did you have any idea it would become as popular as it is today?

MICHAEL: Thank you for the great comments about my site. I would also like to say that I am honored to have been selected as a "Webmaster Pick." As for my response to the popularity of my site, I am simply astonished. I worked really hard and tried to advertise as much as possible. A lot of work and effort always pays off in the end.

SH: I have seen your website go through some makeovers. How many did your website go through all together?

MICHAEL: I did go through a lot of changes. I was never really satisfied with the look. I wanted something to express my unique personality in the design. I went through about 6 or 7 different designs. I even had to change the site name from "RaZoRLeGaCy-2k.com" to "HellHorror.com".

SH: Where do you come up with all the ideas for making your website?

MICHAEL: I honestly searched many websites for key features I liked and would like to improve on. My site is the round up of what I'd like to call some of the best horror research on the net. It is very difficult to create a scary horror site… but you can make a terrific research site. This was and still is my angle for creating my website.

SH: You have both web designing and writing experience. Are there any tips you could share with the newbie's out there?

MICHAEL: About designing tips, I think you should make a design with a maximum width of 760 pixels and as simple as can be. As for writing tips, just type what you feel then revise later.

SH: What programs do you feel comfortable using with working overall on your website work?

MICHAEL: Notepad, Adobe Photoshop 7.0, Macromedia: Dreamweaver MX 2004 and Fireworks MX 2004

SH: If I asked you to make a new web page for me from scratch, how long would it take you to make it?

MICHAEL: Once I know what must be done and how, I tend to knock them out easily. I usually get possessed with work and usually get quite determined to finish it.

SH: How many articles all together does your site have right now?

MICHAEL: I have close to 450 different articles on my site right now. Funny thing is I still have to finish the biggest section of my site, the Demon Dictionary. When completed, I estimate another 100-200 for that. I still also want to put up at least 160 movie reviews. I am not the only one who works on the site right now. I have two very good friends; each of them takes care of an important aspect of the site. The Forums are mainly the work of Trippers. My other friend, Frank, is helping me bring an all new games review section which he works on every night. I do ask for help from time to time from the viewers through the forum. You tell me what you want and what you like on the site right now, and I do my best to bring it.

SH: Okay, Now I am going to ask you some questions about yourself. So we could get to know a little about the webmaster behind his work. My first question would be describing your true personality?

MICHAEL: I am kind hearted and easy going. I relax myself through working on HellHorror.com. I love when viewers make a post on the forum, e-mail me, take pleasure in the member count and the site hits.

SH: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

MICHAEL: Playing with my little son named Xavier. I also love working on my site.

SH: What are your dislikes?

MICHAEL: I hate liars and people who continually ask me to make them a web site. If you want a web site, it's either I do it in my spare time which is rare or you hire me to do it for you. I do have a beautiful baby boy to help maintain.

SH: What is your never to be forgotten memory in your life time?

MICHAEL: The birth of my son will be my never forgotten memory. My wife had a C-section and I was in the room to see my little homeboy come out and be given to me to hold. Before this, I had never held a baby younger then 3 months let alone 3 minutes old. LoL

SH: Is there anything you would like to say to your friends, or visitors?

MICHAEL: As to my visitors, thank you very much for your support and you bring joy to this webmaster. As for my friends who help me, Tina and Frank, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. As for my wife and baby boy, Thanks for the love and joy you bring into my life.
