The film starts off with a man being chased while clutching to a mask, he ends up in hospital were one of his pursuers kills him, after which he then proceeds outside and pours petrol on himself and lights a match to blow himself up.

Ellie Grimbridge the daughter of the man killed then teams up with Dr. Daniel Challis and head off to find the company that made the mask Ellie father was clinging too, as this is their only lead to find out why he was killed.

After arriving at the town were the factory is they discover that things aren't what they seem as the whole town is put under some sort of marshall law at night time. Ellie and Dr. Daniel blag themselves into the factory only to discover some sinister plan by the owner, who intends to restore the dark roots of Halloween by using his Silver Shamrock masks to kill children on Halloween night. The masks have been laced with something from a Stone taken from Stonehenge that reacts with a certain T. V. signal that the owner of the factory intends to broadcast on Halloween night.

Unfortunately for Ellie and Dr. Daniel they have been captured and must find a way to escape and stop the evil plan, but they will they make it before the signal goes out on Halloween night trick treat...

Halloween 3 is a great film in its own right, unfortunately it has nothing to do with the rest of the series and maybe if it would have been called just season of the witch instead it may have got more fans (as most Halloween fans I talk to hate it because of that fact), but then again it may have just been swept aside without any recognition. Either way I recommend it in any self respecting horror fans collection.
