A Death Knight is a terrible, evil and rather horrifying corruption of a Knight who has been cursed by the Gods to it's terrible form as a punishment for betraying the code of honor it once held it's normal life.

A Death Knight resembles a powerful, hulking Knight, usually taller than 6'4 inches and is more than 300 pounds. It's face is a mere blackened skull covered with shards of shriveled rotting flesh, and the eyes glow a pinhead sized luminance of orange/red. The Death Knights full armor is scorched black, as if coming out of a fire, and the demeanor of the Death Knight is so terrifying, that even higher races and Kender's have become frightened at their sight.

Death Knights speak in the same language as they did in their life, only their voices are deeper and seem to echo around you as if coming from an eerie darkened pit. Death Knights retain their fighting power and battle skills which they had in life, which makes them terribly dangerous to any human, elf, dwarf or other opponent their may encounter.

Though Death Knights have an alignment in our world of Chaotic Evil, they still battle with the same pride and honor that they once held in their normal lives. Some people say that the Death Knights are from a region called Solamnia, where they did unforgivable crimes and were punished by the Gods, forced to dwell forever in their domains without chance of forgiveness. One of the most famous Death Knights ever was Lord Soth who murdered his wife to continue an affair with an elfmaid. The Death Knights are formidable opponents and rarely ever lose a battle....especially on All Hallows Eve should they be called forth.
