Dark Elves are of the Chaotic neutral alignment, but they are very devious and mischievous creatures who can be very malevolent. Normally Dark Elves carry powerful magic spells and can be found high up in the trees in deeply secluded forests. Some Dark Elves guard treasures they have found or stolen from the deceased or just passersby who happen into their realms.

The appearance of a Dark Elf is unmistakable. They usually have paler skin that any of their woodland kin. Their ears are more elongated and they have sharp teeth, actually razor sharp and pointy like that of a Vampire. A normal Dark Elf stands as tall as 5'11 while the smaller ones can be as short 3'ft They are generally clad in dark greens and browns with red or reddish brown pants. They have an ear piercing laugh that almost comes out as a cry, it can become so loud that it will drive a grown human to their knees in pain.

Dark Elves battle as fierce as any Hobgoblin or Orc and they are exceptionally skilled in battle with short swords, scimitars and arrows. Every Dark Elf ever seen has carried at least two of these weapons and has fought to the death when guarding their treasures. Treasures to a Dark Elf can be anything from a gem to a mere rock that they have taken a liking to. They will not generally attack first unless they feel threatened.

Dark Elves do not cross breed or breed outside of their own race. They are strictly plant eaters and will occasionally eat berries when able to get low enough to ground without actually being seen.
